Melasma is a common skin problem that causes discoloration or pigmentation on your face. In melasma, gray or brown marks appear on your skin that makes look your skin awkward. There are various areas on your face where melasma can appear like

In this procedure, they remove a little portion of your skin and then send it to the laboratory for further examinations.

Treatments for melasma:

Dermatologists offer various treatments for pigmentation or melasma. The following are famous melasma treatments.

Hydroquinone:

This is the best medicine for melanoma. It is available in form of cream, lotion, gel, or liquid in the market. You have to apply hydroquinone in the affected area according to the said prescription of the dermatologist.

Corticosteroids and tretinoin:

Another effective medicine that can help you get rid of melasma is tretinoin and corticosteroids. Sometime dermatologist may prescribe you these three medicines, which is also known as triple cream.
